# Set Up Sign-In Portal

The Sign-in Portal feature in Agency Handy allows agencies to customize the appearance of their sign-in page to reflect their brand identity. Agencies can personalize the sign-in page by providing a custom heading, uploading images, and adding a brief description.

### Purpose:&#x20;

Customizing the sign-in portal is essential for the following reasons:

* **Brand Consistency:** Tailoring the sign-in page to align with the agency's brand identity ensures consistency across all touchpoints, reinforcing brand recognition.
* **Professionalism:** A customized sign-in page gives a professional impression to users and clients, enhancing the overall user experience.
* **Brand Identity:** By incorporating branding elements such as logos and colors, agencies can strengthen their brand identity and create a memorable first impression for users.

### Pre-condition to Use the Feature:&#x20;

* Users must have administrative access to the Agency Handy workspace to configure the sign-in portal settings.&#x20;

### Steps to Use:

* **Access Workspace Settings:** Log in to Agency Handy and navigate to the workspace settings section.&#x20;
* **Navigate to Sign-in Portal Settings:** Look for the option related to Sign-in Portal or Portal Settings within the workspace settings menu.&#x20;
* **Customize Heading:** Enter a custom heading for the sign-in page in the provided field. The heading should be concise and limited to a maximum of 120 characters.&#x20;
* **Upload Images:** Use the upload or drag-and-drop functionality to add images (png, jpg, jpeg) to the sign-in page. Ensure that the image size does not exceed 5 MB to maintain optimal performance.&#x20;
* **Add Subtext:** Provide a short description or subtext for the sign-in page in the designated field. The subtext should be brief and limited to a maximum of 300 characters.&#x20;
* **Preview and Save Changes:** Review the customized sign-in page layout using the preview option. Once satisfied with the changes, click on the "Save" or "Update" button to apply the modifications.\ <br>

### Important Notes:

* **Purpose of the Sign-In Portal**
  * This feature allows users to **customize the appearance** of their sign-in page to align with their agency's branding.
  * A well-designed sign-in portal **enhances user experience** and improves brand recognition.
  * **Customizable Elements**
    * **Heading:**
      * Users can set a custom heading to display at the top of the sign-in page.
      * Maximum character limit: **120 characters**.
    * **Image Upload:**
      * Users can upload an image to personalize the sign-in page.
      * **Supported file types:** PNG, JPG, JPEG.
      * **Maximum file size:** 5MB.
    * **Subtext:**
      * A **short message** displayed below the login fields to provide guidance or branding.
      * Maximum character limit: **300 characters**.
  * **Access & Permissions**
    * Only **Super Admins and Admins** have permission to configure the Sign-In Portal settings.
    * Changes apply immediately upon saving.
  * **Reset to Default**
    * Clicking **"Reset Default Settings"** will restore the portal to its **original system settings**, removing all customizations.
    * This action **cannot be undone**, so proceed with caution.
  * **Saving Changes**
    * Once all customizations are made, users must click **"Save"** to apply changes.
    * Clicking **"Cancel"** will discard any unsaved modifications.
  * **Troubleshooting & Best Practices**
    * If the **image fails to upload**, ensure it meets the **format and size requirements**.
    * Keep the **heading and subtext concise** to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
    * Preview changes before saving to ensure the **branding is correctly displayed**.
