The Custom Domain feature in Agency Handy allows users to link their own website address (e.g., www.yourbusiness.com) to the platform. This enhances brand identity, professionalism, and ease of access for clients and users. The Custom Domain feature enables businesses to use their unique domain name with Agency Handy, creating a branded and professional online presence.

Ease of Access: Simplifies access to the workspace with a familiar and memorable web address.
Users must own a domain name.
Users must have the authority to modify DNS settings for the desired domain.
Access Workspace Settings:
Log in to your Agency Handy account.
Navigate to the Workspace Settings section.
Select Custom Domain Option:
Locate and click on the Custom Domain option.
Click the "+ Add Custom Domain" button.
Enter Domain Name:
Enter your desired domain name (e.g., client.yourbusiness.com) in the provided field.
Do not use "www" as a subdomain.
Copy the Type, Name & Value from here and past them to the DNS server of yours.
Configure DNS Settings:
Copy the value provided and access your domain registrar or hosting provider’s DNS settings.
Add the required DNS record (CNAME) to connect the custom domain to your workspace.
The DNS only settings in Proxy Status must be OFF.
Verify Ownership:
Follow the verification process, which may include:
Adding a DNS record.
Verifying ownership via email.
Verify and Save Changes:
Once DNS settings are configured, click Save Domain within AgencyHandy.
The initial status will show as "Disconnected." Wait 2 minutes to 24 hours for the domain to go live.
Click the Refresh button to check the connection status.
When connected, the status will change to "Connected."
Use a DNS checker (e.g., dnschecker.org) to monitor your custom domain status.
Paste the domain link into the DNS checker and click Search.
If all countries are marked with a tick, your domain is live. Otherwise, wait and check again.

Domain Naming Guidelines
Users must enter a valid subdomain (e.g., team.orvidev.uk
).
Avoid using 'www' as a subdomain, as it may cause configuration conflicts.
Verification & DNS Configuration
After saving the domain, users must update their DNS settings with their domain registrar.
The system will provide required DNS records (e.g., CNAME or A records) that need to be added.
Domain verification may take a few minutes to 24 hours, depending on DNS propagation time.
Access & Permissions
Only Super Admins and Admins have the authority to configure a custom domain.
Once a domain is linked, all users accessing the workspace will be redirected through the custom domain.
Changes & Deletion
Users can update or remove the custom domain at any time.
If a domain is removed, the workspace will revert to the default Agency Handy domain.
Finalizing Setup
After entering the preferred domain name, users must click "Save" to apply changes.
A success message or further instructions will appear if additional verification steps are required.
Troubleshooting
If the domain does not connect, ensure:
The DNS records were added correctly.
Sufficient time has been allowed for DNS propagation.
There are no conflicting records in the domain settings.
Use DNS checking tools (e.g., dnschecker.org) to verify DNS propagation status.
You can delete an added custom domain anytime by clicking the Delete button and confirming the action.
Deleted custom domains can be re-added by providing the same domain name.
DNS propagation time can vary by location, taking 2 minutes to 24 hours.
You must set off the DNS proxy from Proxy Status.
Namecheap
